Product Description
Fishing during a school day?! What fun your class will have "fishing" for short and long vowel I and O words. To play, students take turns "fishing" word cards and sorting the words into the correct vowel pattern. We used "fishing rods", buckets, and a blow up pool which added great excitement to the game! The class had to be careful of which card they'd catch. There are "fun" cards in there!

Vowel patterns cvcc and vcc are the focus for this pack. Words such as "kind", "tilt", "cold", and "lost" are found in the game.

Blank cards are provided for you to adapt to your lesson and needs of your students. Use all of the cards or just the long and short i or the long and short o cards!
