Your students will really enjoy playing this reading game during Literacy Centers or for a Fun Friday activity! There are three different sets of decks (all in D'Nealian and Zaner Bloser) for you to choose from, and two game boards (short vowels and long vowel sounds). The decks included CVC words, short vowel words with blends, digraphs, and twin consonants, and long vowel sounds (using more than one vowel pattern). To play, students select a card from their deck and read it to a partner. If they read the word correctly, they match it to a vowel on their game board. The first player to get four of their cards in a row is the winner! If you purchase this game and would like the Word document, I will send it to you so you can edit it and make your own decks for the future. Enjoy!
