This is a great activity to use in your Guided Reading/Small Groups and then add to a word work station.
It provides fun and meaningful CVC practice. This is perfect for introducing onset-rime to your students.
The puzzles are differentiated by three levels:
The first level has dots under each letter for students to sound out the word along with a matching picture.
The second level just has the CVC word listed (no dots/arrow) and the matching picture.
The third level has each CVC broken apart by each letter. Students are to build the letter and attach it to the matching picture.
This set includes a variety of: -ib, -id, -ig, -in, -ip, -it, and -ix words.
-ib: bib, rib
-id: kid, lid
-ig: dig, pig, wig
-in: bin, fin, pin, win
-ip: dip, lip, rip, zip
-it: pit, sit
Side Note: Short O, and Short U sets are being created currently. A bundle will be created after each set is posted.
