Teens under 13 years old should not be allowed to have Facebook or MySpace
or any other social networking website. Perrin 2015 recognized that users of social
media had been growing from 7% to be reaching 65% at 2005-2015. The social media practitioners are considered to be high rate of isolation, inability to interact in face to face situations. Proponents of the social media allowance for teens suggested that social media lead to positive attitudes throughout interacting via the Internet (Perrin, 2015). Klausen 2015 ensuring that the social media included including criminals, terroristic groups, and other antisocial individuals, whose existence on social networking websites considered to be seeking to the facilitation of their criminal activities and processes. Hua 2015 ensured that the social networking website would be an effective tool for promotion of antisocial groups, such as gangs, to expansion of their activities in the offline society (Jones, 2017). The question is teens should or should not be allowed to use social media. Throughout this essay, there would be illustration for the different perspectives regarding allowing students under 13 years old to have social networking website.
