Beginning with the green circle, students follow the line with their finger, and shout the phoneme (the sound of the letter) each time they pass it along the path to the red circle. This allows students to practice vocalizing the sounds represented by individual letters of the alphabet.
The activity is designed to help students associate particular graphemes with their phonemes. Each page could be laminated for use with dry erase markers or in student letter of the week centers. Vintage artwork is used to illustrate each letter.
