This activity will help students practice with counting and applying one to one correspondence, while also identifying the correct numeral and writing it.
Use a small manipulative of your choice, give students a number, and ask them to show that many in their ten or twenty frame.
Have your student check their work by counting them again with one to one correspondence.
After your student has put the correct number on the ten or twenty frame, have them point to it on the number line.
Lastly, request your student to write the number. They have the number line to guide them if they need to look at their number but are still getting practice with writing!
