Description

This product was created to reinforce adding and subtracting rational numbers in the form of decimals while incorporating some financial literacy components. Students will have the opportunity to choose an entry-level job and calculate their earnings. They will fill out a ledger recording their deposits and spending habits to meet certain required criteria while keeping a running balance (this is where the adding/subtracting comes in!). They will also fill out check and deposit slip templates.

Main file is a Powerpoint for introduction to students. Embedded into Powerpoint are a printable student packet, completed student sample, and rubric. The embedded files are in PDF format.
