Make sure to check out the the Seesaw Challenges Bundle
These challenges are perfect for assessment time in the classroom. The Challenges will give students a chance to make their thinking visible in Seesaw. They are easily differentiated, and with Seesaw you are able to capture a student’s thinking, then revisit it anytime.
The only reason I call them “Challenges” is because it seems to be motivating for students when we can them challenges. ;) They are basically eight tasks, or activities that the students can complete within Seesaw. You add the content or topic, and the students get to work!
There are eight challenges included in this pack, and everything you need to get your students going first thing tomorrow morning with minimal prep! Just print the challenges, add the problems or content, and hang or display them for your students and you’re good to go!
I love to print and hang the challenges around the classroom and allow students to work through them at their own pace, in any order. Students upload their completed challenges to their Seesaw Journal as they complete them. Don’t forget to create a folder for each challenge in Seesaw to keep them organized when you’re ready to view them. The challenges can also be used as early finisher activities, or even center activities!
Feel free to use these challenges to create Activities for your students within Seesaw too! There are examples of some of the completed challenges to make it easy for you!
- These challenges are not simply “paperless” worksheet activities. My goal is to help teachers rethinking the tasks and learning we ask our students to do in our classrooms. These challenges give students a chance to create, take responsibility for their learning through choice, and critical think within Seesaw - not simply complete a worksheet on a device. This requires flexibility on the teacher’s part and trust in your students. Many of these challenges allow students to make their thinking visible, which is always the goal when using devices in the classroom.
Make sure to check out the preview to see the challenges and examples of completed challenges!
