This is a PACE method-inspired lesson for the French conditional tense based on the Twitter hashtag #SiInternetNExistaitPas (If the Internet didn't exist). For more information on how to conduct a grammar lesson based on the PACE method, read my description of the process here: https://talesfromthesalledeclasse.wordpress.com/2018/01/02/grammar-in-a-proficiency-based-ci-classroom-the-pace-method/.
This lesson features:
*Authentic Tweets about what Internet users would actually do if the Internet did not exist in order to expose students to many repetitions of the conditional, and in a variety of different forms.
*A simple explanation of the grammar (as per the PACE method, the majority of the grammar explanation is done by the students themselves).
*Some practice opportunities for verb formation.
*Three extension activities.
PLEASE NOTE: The slide marked "Ecoutez" features a short listening exercise for which the teacher will need to create the prompts themselves, as it should be personalized to the teacher and his/her class.
I have provided both the editable PPT file; if you would like the PDF with the original theme fonts (but NO animations), please message me with your e-mail address!
