This was used with my newcomer English learners and consists of a word find from www.bogglesworldesl.com (22 vocabulary words) along with colored pictures of each word to find, the English word, and the Spanish equivalent. It would be very simple to have students who are non-native Spanish speakers translate the words into their L1. Please note that my ELLs were from Guatemala, El Salvador, and parts of Mexico so there was not always consensus on the "correct" term to use for each English word given. This would be a nice way to incorporate cultural differences in the discussions.
This is ready for use on the SmartBoard to be projected for the entire class, but it could definitely be reduced in size to use as a student handout, made into flash cards, etc.
