This is a great resource that can be used for ANY and all chapters of Herman Hesse's Siddhartha. The front features basic review and checks for understanding and the back encourages students to find and define words that are new to them. I found this activity to be great for my wide variety of ability levels. I had them turned in as exit tickets at the end of each chapter, checked them for understanding, and gave them back so that students could review the events of each chapter before the final exam over the book.
Some chapters are shorter than others; some teachers choose to skip or summarize certain chapters-- this can be a great way to do that! Using one worksheet for 2 or 3 chapters at once works well.
The other way to use these worksheets is as homework when you send a chapter home. These can replace reading quizzes and ensure that your students are doing their homework!
