This small group reading guide has students write paragraphs from the points of view of each of the characters in the book. Students will also draw pictures of the characters. These pictures and paragraphs will then be put together in a "yearbook" showcasing the entire class. You can choose how to put them together, digitally or with the actual papers. Students read the entire book, but jigsaw the paragraphs and characters so that the yearbook is a compilation of the entire group's work.
This can be used as a literature circle, small group reading, guided reading, or book club. Students could also take this task on as individuals.
