Sight Reading 9 - MUSIC RHYTHM SHEET - Eighth Note Triplets and Rests

One exercise with counting fully written in, and another with no counting.

I use this sheets like this:

1. Explain the concept at the top of the sheet,
2. help the student through the first exercise,
3. set them to practise for the week, and
4. when they can count out loud and play the second exercise (which has no counting written in), they move to the next sheet.

This exercise (and my others) have been designed from almost 200 private students over almost a decade.

Written for drum students, to be played on snare drum (using the percussion 'null' clef aka neutral clef). But these rhythms could just as easily suit any musical student. Just clap the rhythms -- or play them on your instrument!
