Are you looking for a fun and hands-on activity to reinforce sight words for your first graders? I love making learning fun and have combined the age-old art of making paper planes with the learning of sight words! These paper planes make a great sight word activity for your learning centers!
Please note: These paper planes are included in my extended version Sight Word Activity Paper Planes Bundle! Please don't purchase this item if you plan on purchasing the bundle!
Simply have students color and trace the sight word. A star has been added at the start of each word so students know where to begin. Then the fun of folding can begin - full pictorial instructions are included. Once complete, the literacy center will be alive with flying planes. Add buckets with sight word labels (also included) as landing targets for an extra challenge!
Included in this download:
• 41 First Grade Sight Word Planes
