Here's a fun and engaging PowerPoint for the sight word YOU that will teach your kids all about the word and keep them moving as well!

There are 24 slides in this presentation (plus a credits slide).
Slide 1: Introduces the word
Slide 2: Teaches the kids to sign the word
Slide 3: Shows the kids how to write the word
Slide 4: Asks what the kids notice about the word (How many letters in the word, does it have double letters? Are there any funny sounds (digraphs, vowels that make the wrong sound, etc.), does it look like another word they know? The possibilities are endless. Let the kids lead.
Slide 5: Kids move and spell the word with the movements. (Example: a-n-d and 3 times while doing jumping jacks.)
Slide 6: Name some words that rhyme with the sight word. You can write them down or just yell them out. The next slide is a movement slide so there is time to erase :)

Slide 8: Trace the word. Have two kids come to the board, or have all kids write it in the air or on a partner's back.
