Sight Word Card Game
Alphabet Card Game
ABC Cookies to build words/match
40 Sight word cards, 52 uppercase and lowercase cards, and 4 "lose a turn" cards to play a sight word or alphabet game with your students whole group or during centers.
How to play: place cards face down and have students select a card one at a time. If they can read the word, read the letter, or make the letter sound (differentiate) then they can keep that card. Watch out for the gingerbread cookies that get stuck in the jar! That means a turn is lost! :) Whoever has the most at the end, wins.
You can also use the ABC gingerbread cookies to match upper and lowercase letters in a pocket chart.
Also, 56 small sugar cookie letter cards for matching or building! One way to use them is to choose a gingerbread sight word card, and use the sugar cookies to build that word. They can also be matched in a pocket chart.
There is a recording sheet for students to write the sight words they build, or the sight words they won during the game.
Cut out and laminate all pieces.
Clipart bought through www.scrappindoodles.com and is not for reuse/resale. =)
