This is a small group sight word game. Lay out the bases in the classroom like a baseball diamond. Have the students line up at home plate. Crumple up the paper into a ball with the sight words on it. Throw the sight words to the student. The student opens up the ball and if they say the correct sight word they go to first base. If they do not they go back into line. Students advance bases as other students get onto base. When students reach home they get back into line. It is a lot of fun and the students don't even know how much they are learning!
