This work was originally created for a Primary Montessori teacher, but it can be used for any students learning sight words. This work should be printed in color on card stock and laminated. There are 9 different color coded sets of cards with 4 different versions of each set. Up to 4 students can do this work together. In the Montessori classroom, usually only one set is on the shelf at a time. As the year progresses, the sets are switched out.
If color printing is cost prohibitive, the color names are on the bottom left of each card. Within each set, there is a page with a color dot on each word square. (These must be printed in color to make it easier to know which cards go with which set.) These cards should be cut out and kept with the 4 matching bingo cards. The only additional items needed are markers so students can keep track of which words they have found on their card.
