These cards consist of the 220 Dolch sight words (originally compiled by Edward Dolch, PhD)... with a twist.
They are color coded** by part of speech:
Yellow - conjunctions
Purple - prepositions
Red - pronouns
Orange - adverbs
Brown - adjectives
Green - verbs
(*This is the non-noun Dolch list. Click here
for the noun cards that go with this set.)
This is a great tool to tie Grammar lessons and parts of speech in with your sight words (whether they are used as flash cards, in a center activity, or on a word wall).
**I selected these colors based on the grammar wall colors we use in my school district. Please contact me if you would like a different color combination.
