How many years have they changed the Kindergarten sight words and the progression you are to teach them? You probably have zillions of sight word cards from multiple years. But if you are teaching with McGraw Hill’s new Reading Wonders Series, this packet is for you! It includes all 40 sight words in the progression suggested by the series.
The words in each unit have been color coded so you can keep track of when to use the word cards. Simply print, laminate, cut, and use any way you see fit. Here are some ideas:
Whole Group Sight Word Introduction
Small Group Sight Word Review
Literacy Stations (Word Work)
Individual Sight Word Rings
Sight Word Memory
This packet has also been updated to include number words zero through ten as well as color words. There are two sets of color words. The first set uses coordinating colored frames. The second set uses black frames for when your students are ready to read the words without the frame’s color clues. It has also been updated to include extra kindergarten sight words as well as blank cards for you to handwrite your own.
