What a fun way to learn the first 25 sight words on Fry's List! Students will have a blast creating and wearing these sight word crowns and bracelets. Learning should always be this fun!!
How to Make Sight Word Crowns and Bracelets:
Print the crowns and/or bracelets onto white cardstock. Allow students to color the sight word and decorate the crown and bracelet. Attach strips of cardstock to each side of the crown, wrap it around the students’ head, and secure with tape.
How to use Sight Word Crowns and Bracelets:
Write the room! Students can walk around and write the sight words they find on their classmates’ crowns. Before moving onto the next word, students could also use the word in a sentence on their record sheet. The bracelets provide constant reinforcement all day long! It’s also a conversation starter when the students go home after school.
