My students love playing this game and I think yours will, too. It is played just like traditional dominoes and is easy for children to learn.
Each child begins with seven cards (you can have them start with fewer cards if you would like). The rest of the cards are face down in the draw pile. Chose one player to lay down the first domino. From there, players will take turns playing cards that match the words that have been played. If the player does not have a match he or she will need to draw another domino from the pile. The first person to play all of their dominoes wins.
The words in this set are taken from the second grade Dolch word list. Check out my site for Sight Word Dominoes at other levels!
