This activity is a sight word egg hunt. This is perfect for Easter or springtime in the classroom!
The sight words are editable, you choose your own sight words and the amount of sight words that you will use.
***You will need PowerPoint to use the file. Please make sure you have this software before purchasing. You can also upload the file to Google Drive and use Slides to edit***
Your students will be hunting for eggs in the classroom, they will use a checklist to find eggs with sight words on them. I have also included printable eggs that your students can hunt for if you would prefer this option.
I usually use 8 eggs for each student. You can choose the amount that you would like to use. I usually put candy or treats in the eggs and allow the students to keep them. You can also use empty eggs and have your students return them and do it for fun.
To complete this activity you will need:
~plastic eggs (around 8 for each student) (or the printable paper eggs)
~treats to fill the eggs (optional)
~a bag for each student to use for the hunt (brown paper lunch bags work great)
~the included checklist
This is a favorite activity every year! I hope you enjoy!
