Number of Players: 2
1 set of cards (laminated)
1 recording sheet to share
2 crayons (a different color for each player)
1 number cube
Object: Be the last person to write in a letter
on the recording sheet. The entire word doesn't
have to be written to win.
Players should decide who will go first and write
their names on their shared recording sheet. The
first player will roll the number cube. The number
rolled tells which word card should be used. For
instance, if the player rolls a 2, then they should
look at the sight word card within the set of 6
labeled 2. Once they find the card, they look for
a word that they know. The longer the word, the
more letters they get to write into the
recording grid on their turn. In order to record
their chosen word, they must be able to say it.
Using their own crayon, they will record their word
into the grid, one letter into each square. Then,
the next person rolls the number cube and the
game continues until the entire grid is full.
