Sight Word Assessment Flash Cards/Rings
These rings are great to use as an assessment tool! You can assess as many words as you want at a time. Perfect to use during transitiona or when you finish a lesson early, you can use your time wisely and quickly assess sight words!
-Print out and cut sight words. Paper hole punch each card in the corner. Then put the cards in order and put them on a ring.
-Have students read the words to you. When they get the word correct put a star, check, or x in the box. When the student reads the word correctly 3 times, rip the card off the ring and they can take it home to show their families.
-At the end of the quarter or semester, you can check each student’s ring and see what words they do not know.
