This packet consists of 52 activity sheets, each focusing on one Dolch Primer sight word (all, am, are, at, ate, be, black, brown, but, came, did, do, eat, four, get, good, have, he, into, like, must, new, no, now, on, our, out, please, pretty, ran, ride, saw, say, she, so, soon, that, there, they, this, too, under, want, was, well, went, what, white, who, will, with, yes). Students practice each word by listening, speaking, looking, clapping, writing, stamping, coloring, tracing, circling, highlighting, and gluing.
These were designed to be used in a one-on-one or small group setting to allow for reinforcement, repetition, and verbal emphasis on the sight word. A major component of them is the verbal interaction which takes place between the adult and the student. However, they can be used as an independent or center activity, based upon your students' needs and abilities.
Each section begins with a * (star) and a picture clue to allow for ease in following the individual directions. You will also find that the sentences in the highlighting section always include one statement, exclamation, and question.
