Sight Word Graphing Fry's First 100 Sight Words

Description
Sight Word Graphing Fry's First 100 Sight Words is a fun and engaging way to help reinforce sight word recognition and graphing. The set includes Fry’s first 100 sight words which have been divided into groups of four. Each set of four sight words appears twice. One version contains a horizontal bar graph, and the other contains a vertical bar graph.
To complete each page, students color the sight words according to the code and then use that information to complete the bars on the bar graph, fill in the tally marks, and answer questions. The bottom of the page includes a bonus section in which students label the names of the 2D shapes that appear on the page.
Students will focus on:
sight word recognition
creating bar graphs
answering questions about the total number of data points
identifying the most and fewest data points
identifying how many more/fewer are in one category than in another
naming 2D shapes
