In my classroom I use these sight word shapes as tops for pointers that students can use while they are silent or partner reading to find sight words in the books they are reading. The sticks can also be used to match up to words if they are "reading around the room" - the sticks could be used for a variety of other activities as well. The sky is the limit. The product includes colorful shapes that represent 50 different sight words that represent many of the most common words on the Dolch and Frye word lists. Enjoy!
