FREE Sight Word Homework Bracelet with QR codes for the word ABOUT. Perfect for Kindergarten home practice and remediation. The QR code links to a review video about the sight word ABOUT, and the paper bracelet includes a sentence with the high frequency word used in context, along with visual support for beginning readers. Strengthen the school-home connection by letting parents know what the students are learning and providing a simple and meaningful way for parents to help their students master their sight words. Students love to show off their new learning at home with these QR code bracelets!
After introducing the sight word "about", place the band on each student (or their backpack) to take home.
Now, when a parent asks, “What did you learn in school today?” the child can share and practice their new learning! This paper bracelet is designed to be a quick, simple, and meaningful way for the family to reinforce and support what their child is learning. By seeing the sight word in various contexts, and letting parents know exactly what their children are working on, students are set up for success!

♥High Frequency Words BUNDLE
TEACHERS love these bracelets because students spend extra time at home working on concepts (because there is never enough time at school!) and parents are kept in the know about what their children are learning without daily/weekly newsletters. PARENTS love these cool QR code bracelets because they know exactly what their child is learning and the simple game & video empowers them to support their child. STUDENTS love the bracelets because they get to show off their new learning at home and watch the fun sight word video!
Simply print the color or black/white paper bracelet (the parent directions print on the back), and tape/glue/staple the paper band around the students' wrists or to their backpacks or folders.
Let students know that you have a special video for them to watch at home about the sight word they learned today, and they can show off their new reading skills to their families by reading their bracelet to them after school!
Students will excitedly present the bracelets to their parents to scan with their Smartphone, tablet, or iPad. Students will watch the sight word video and then read the sight words and sight word sentence on their bracelet. Encourage parents to keep the bracelets on the fridge or in a folder for continual review at home.
This "We're Learning" Bracelet links to an educational YouTube videos using a QR code. If you plan to use these bracelets at school (rather than students' homes), please download and test that the QR codes open on your school device (and on school WiFi) before trying to use in class. This is because some districts block YouTube, but it won't be an issue if parents use their own devices to access the videos at home. I value your time!***
