Each book includes:
“I am learning the sight word _____” with a space for the student’s name
The word is shown on handwriting lines with arrows; “Trace it” – students trace the word on handwriting lines with arrows and on handwriting lines with dotted guide lines; “Write it” – students write the word on their own
“Color it” – students color in the word; “Rainbow write it” – students rainbow write the word six times
“Circle it” – there are 40 “words” written on the page (the words are all variations of the word spelled correctly such as - about, abot, abt, etc.), the students circle the correctly spelled word
“Say it” – the students read the word; “Clap it” – students clap the word and color in the correct amount of syllables; “Write it” – students write the word in letter boxes; “Read it” – students read five sentences using the word (you can choose to have students circle or highlight the word in the sentences)
“Read it” – the word is used in a sentence; “Write it” – the students copy the sentence on the lines; “Draw it” – students draw a picture to match the sentence
