Sight Word Jack-O-Lantern Kindergarten Literacy Center for Halloween

Use this Halloween inspired sight word center to build students' sight word recognition and spelling skills. It will be a great addition to your kindergarten literacy centers or morning work to practice sight word recognition and spelling skills.

What is included:

1- Reusable Color Activity Mats: Print in color, cut out the mouth, eye and nose pieces, and laminate. Students use the pumpkin work mats to build their own jack-o-lanterns. Then they can use a whiteboard marker to record the sight words they used.

2- Cut and Paste Activity: Print out the black and white mouth, eye and nose pieces, and enough jack-o-lantern worksheets for all your students. They cut out the pieces they want to use to build their jack-o-lantern, then record the sight words they used.

* You can add your own sight words using the editable PowerPoint version. Simply type in the sight words you want to use, and print! You can edit the color or black and white versions of the jack-o-lantern pieces.
