Reinforce sight word recognition and spelling with this fun, hands-on literacy activity. Use them during literacy centers, add them to your sensory bin or put them in your dramatic play center. Also perfect for morning work or work bins to work on literacy skills throughout the year.
Students will pick a sight word 'sock', and use the letter 'shirts' to spell out the words. For added fine motor practice, have students use clothespins to build the sight words on a ribbon or string.
What is included:
⇒ The sight words and letters are formatted in two ways to suit your printing needs:
→ letters and sight words together
→ multiples of each letter on their own
→ sight words on their own
⇒ one set of letters that students can use to make the alphabet if you are working on letter recognition
