Who was this resource created for?
I created these sight word lessons for two of my middle school students with intensive needs. These two students have Intellectual Disabilities, one of the students has Down Syndrome. These students need a lot of practice in order to read and write sight words. I found that by supporting their reading and writing activities with heavy picture support, they can read and write more independently and with success. I wrote this book, "The Airplane" around the sight words of focus and they are written on a very basic level. I find that after daily practice with the picture support, the pictures can be folded over in the books and these two students can read the text independently. It has been very rewarding watching these students grow as readers. I think that this resource would be appropriate for any beginning reader working on their sight words. For my students, it has been most successful to do one lesson each week, this could vary depending on your students' needs.

I love feedback! Remember...
When you leave feedback you earn TpT Credits for purchases on TpT. You get one TpT Credit for every $ you spend on TpT. Thing is, you only get the Credits after you Provide Feedback on the items that you purchase. Every 100 Credits is worth $5 that you can apply towards future TpT purchases, but there is no need to wait until you have 100 to redeem them. 50 credits is worth $2.50, for example.
I am so humbled that you have chosen to purchase this bundle! I hope that your students find success with these resources.
