This is a sightword mini book for the word "where". This is one in a series. I got the idea from Jessica Meacham's website http://www.jmeacham.com/emergent.readers.htm She calls them Itty Bitty Star Word Books. I made books for the sight words I was needing that she hadn't already created.
If you print it on the borderless setting on your printer, there will be no trash to pick up. ;D
Each little book focuses on one sight word. The children should trace the sight word, then cut apart and staple. They will have a min book with 12 pages including the cover. It gives the children a lot of repetition with sightwords.
I kept a ziplock bag inside the students folders that the books went in so they could read them at home.
These mini books are great for students just learning sight words, but they would also be a great review to use at the beginning of the year for 1st grade.
