Your students will LOVE making these sight word locket necklaces or pocket watches. Both are made the same way, just one is worn as a necklace and the other goes in your pocket like a pocket-watch!
Students trace and cut out the rectangles for each letter in the sight word. Then, they glue them to the locket or pocket watch and add a piece of yarn to complete the project.
My students beg to make these! This freebie includes 2 of the 18 Houghton Mifflin sight words: my & to.
Copy these on colored construction paper for added fun.
