Make Sight Word Practice with these fun, engaging and tactile "Sight Words Pin, Flip and Finger Trace' cards!
Children will enjoy learning to read and 'write' sight words with these cards - they use a pin or toothpick to pierce holes in the card, flip it, say the letters in the word, and finger trace along the raised surface created by the pin pricks.
If safety is a concern for you, I would advice having them pinned by an adult prior to learning. The most essential component is that students get to feel the shape created by each line of dots on the letters.
You will need to print, (laminate if desired) and cut these cards prior to your lesson.
My '100 SIGHT WORDS' series contains five levels - Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5.
Level 1 teaches the 20 most frequently occurring words in all that we read. Level 2 adds the next 20, and so on. All 5 levels, together teach the 100 most frequently occurring words in all that we read.
This resource contains 100 cards for the ENTIRE 5 levels of words
These cards complement all the games and worksheets from my 100 SIGHT WORDS series and are perfect for literacy lessons at school or at home!
