I have created ‘Sight Words Practice’ to supplement your sight-word lessons.
These are the sight words for this download: one, has, are, for, you, on, and, run, off, so, want, do, eat, have, play, come, this, big, here, what, little, his, two, and love.
Set TWO includes~
-a student sight word list containing 24 sight words, which can be introduced over a 4-6 week-time span.
-a sight word pre-& post-assessment.
-4 quick assessments (each covering 6 sight words per assessment).
-24 practice worksheets to reinforce sight word-skills.
-24 word-wall words or flashcards, which can be laminated for your use.
You can distribute 3-6 words per week, according to your students’ needs. The quick assessments cover six words at a time. (See the student sight word list for groupings.)
You can administer the pre-assessment before introducing the sight words, to get an inventory of what they know. Once all of the sight words are taught, you can administer the post-assessment. I have included the word-wall words or flashcards for your own creative use. The worksheets are to be distributed after each word has been introduced. You can assign them in a center, after a whole-group lesson, small groups, or for homework.
Have fun and happy sight-word learning!
