These sight word practice pages are great for morning work, word work, literacy centers, early finishers, extra practice and much more! They are a no-prep resource - which makes it easy to send them with your students to practice at home!
Each page includes a variety of practice with different skills such as fluency, writing, sight word recognition, color words, simple comprehension and more!
The pages are broken up into six different areas.
These areas are:
1 - Sight Word
Each page has a focused sight word at the top.
This is an excellent way to practice visual recognition.
You can also instruct students to find the focused sight word throughout the page.
2 - Sight Word Sentence
Each page has a large sentence that relates to both the sight word and clip art.
There are reading dots under this sentence to help students start off by taking their time.
3 - Color Clues
The sight word sentence is followed by simple sentences with color clues.
Students use the color clues to color the picture.
4 - Fluency Reads
Each page has a large 1-2-3 number of reads tracker.
Students read each sentence/story three times. Color a number after each read.
5 - Writing Practice
Each page asks students to write the sight word sentence.
This is the large sentence with the guided reading dots.
6 - Simple Comprehension Practice
There are two comprehension questions taken directly from the text on each page.
One write-in question and one multiple choice (two options) question.
