I have Set 1 and Set 3 in my TPT Store.
Sight Words Cut n Paste Set 1Sight Words Cut n Paste Set 3
This packet includes 51 Printables for Sight Words that are commonly used in Pre-K and Kindergarten. An Assessment Sheet is included so teachers can keep track of which students have mastered the words.
Also included is a colorful Sight Word Building Mat, Sight Word Cards, and letters of the alphabet to be used in a Sight Word Building Activity.
The words used are: all, am, are, at, ate, be, black, brown, but, came, did, do, eat, four, get, good, have, he, into, like, just, new, now, on, our, out, please, pretty, ran, ride, saw, say, she, so, soon, that, there, they, this, too, under, want, was, well, went, what, white, who, will, with and yes.
Students are asked to Say It; Trace It; Write It; Find It; Color It; Make It; and Use It!
There is an area on each Printable that is Self Checking for the students. Students have to check that they have done all 7 parts of the Printable.
The Dolch Sight Word Printables can be used in centers or for monitored class work. Printables can either be printed for each student or placed in page protectors and have different groups work on the words that they are able to recognize. Students can find the card that matches their word before completing the Printable. Students that finish the printable early can get a Mat and build the Sight Words they completed.
Teachers can then assess students progress for data using the Assessment Sheet.
Many first graders do not have a good grasp of these words. This list is great for differentiation in a first grade class. Use the assessment form to see which words students need practice with and give the practice sheets only to the students that need them.
Have fun with these Dolch Sight Word Printables!
