These read-and-write, and read-and-make practice sheets are designed to help your littles have more exposure to each lesson's words. There are two pages of make-and-write activities with the second page reordered (this keeps students from just memorizing the order of the words). The third activity is a make-and-write sheet that causes students to think about how each word is spelled. I will be using the read-and-write sheets as morning work, and again as homework. The read-and-make sheets are great for an independent center activity or other times when you are getting ready to assess the words for a particular week. There will be a set for the first 14 lessons soon, so keep checking back!
Another way to use the read-and write pages is to have students to "magic" write the words in white crayon, then color over them with markers or water colors. Keep it exciting!
