Students will love practicing Dolch Pre-Primer Sight Words with this game. The game includes all words on the Dolch Pre-Primer List, as well as blank cards for you to add any other words you may be learning. It is great for centers, independent work time, small groups, or interventions! How to play:
This is a card game. Print out the cards. Cards can be printed on cardstock or laminated for long term use. This game works best with two players. Cards are placed in a pile and shuffled. Split the pile into two so each player has a stack. Student will turn their cards over at the same time and read the word. Students will then look at the rock, paper, or scissors picture to determine, who “won”. There is a “Who Won” poster included for students that don’t the regular rock paper scissors rules. There are a few wild cards that are included, if a student draws a card with rock, paper, and scissors on it, they get to choose rock, paper, or scissors. Students continue playing until one player runs out of cards, or it is time to clean up. The game reminds me of the card game “war” with a rock, paper, scissors twist. Kid’s LOVE IT!
