Sight Word Sandcastle Literacy Center Activity for Kindergarten for Summer

Use this sight word center to build students' sight word recognition and writing skills. It will be a great addition to your kindergarten literacy centers to work on sight word recognition and spelling skills.

There are 2 versions included in this product:
1- Reusable Color Activity Mats: Print in color, cut out the sandcastle pieces, and laminate. Students use the Sandcastle work mat to build on. Then they can use a whiteboard marker to record the sight words they used.
2- Cut and Paste Activity: Print out the black and white sandcastle pieces, and enough Sandcastle worksheets for all your students. They cut out the pieces they want to use to build with, then record the sight words they used.

∗ You can now add your own sight words using the editable PowerPoint version. Simply type in the sight words you want to use, and print! You can edit the color or black and white versions of the sandcastle pieces.
