Product Description

This activity helps to build sight word, sentence and vocabulary knowledge. It is extremely versatile and can be used in lots of different ways- literacy rotation, sentence or writing station, or whole class lessons on sight words, sentences or adjectives (even maths- see below!

Laminate and cut the word, punctuation and picture cards. Students put the sentences back together, adding a picture card and punctuation to complete the sentence. There is a star above the first word to assist students in finding the start of the sentence.

3 pages of describing words are also included once students are ready to include adjectives in their sentences. These include colour words. There are pictures of pencils, monsters, birds, 2D shapes, stars, ninjas and cars in a range of colours to help students build their colour knowledge. The 2D shapes could also be used to integrate maths into your literacy work.
