Looking for an easy way to assess and keep track of your students' sight word knowledge? Need an effective, fun way for them to practice their sight words? This pack is for you!
Included are:
~100 Flashcards with sight words and picture-supported sentences for the second 100 Fry high-frequency words. They are separated by color or number (if using B&W version) into sets of 25. B&W cards have the corresponding set number in the top right corner for easy identification.
~Each color/number has its own assessment sheet.
~Each color/number also has its own certificate for students to earn when they have learned all words in that set.
~Class assessment-at-a-glance sheets.
~Explicit directions for use and assessment, as well as ideas to reach tactile learners.
These cards are perfect for increasing fluency. They have picture supports to make it easier for children to focus on the target sight word. Reading the words in context helps children be able to use these cards independently and increases their confidence.
They are also a great way to warm up for your guided reading lesson. Start with a few words/sentences children are familiar with to build confidence, then introduce the sight words that are in the guided reading book!
