This pack is for students to practice the early literacy skills of sight word identification and repetition. This sentence sort is designed to scaffold their learning to prepare for later reading proficiency. It can be used as a center, small group work, or intervention. This resource is great to be used with students on RTI or ELL students!
Included in the pack are 8 sets of sentences which include sight words to help readers practice sight word fluency in a meaningful and fun way on levels A & B (great review/intervention for levels C & D).
Each set includes 8 repeating pattern sentences.
There are two sentences that are the same. One sentence is to be left whole, the other is to be cut apart for the students to put back together. (see thumbnails for picture explanation)
Each sentence has a picture to help the student read the word that is not one of the sight words. These pictures are also intended to reinforce oral language skills by practicing naming objects and places. Review the pictures for each set, if needed!
Please leave feedback, it is greatly appreciated!
