Literacy First List A sight words in a slide show with fun Thanksgiving/Fall brain breaks provide a fun alternative to practice sight words. Learn sight words with all the things that are fun about fall: pumpkin patch, scarecrows, hayrides, Thanksgiving and turkeys—Gobble, Gobble, Gobble!
This “Sight Word Slide Show” provides a fun, quick and easy way to learn sight words with a whole group or independently. The basic sight words are grouped in sets of 5. Color and number sight words are included at the end but are grouped in sets of 10. After each set of words, there are fun slides with cute clip art. These “fun” slides contain words that children can either sound out, gain new and different sight words or learn vocabulary words. (This is the fun part!) Each set only takes a few minutes! I have seen major improvement in my children’s sight word learning with these “Sight Word Slide Show” sets.
Each theme has a FREE “Sight Word Slide Show, Color and Number Words” set that you can download to check out the quality and how the slide show works. The link is:

Instructions on how to view in full screen and scroll through the slide show are included in a link. The way you view the slide show will depend on the settings on your computer. You can scroll through them manually (my preference) or you can time them and add transitions. My instructions include how to set times and transitions or scroll manually. (It is easy!)
I have (or will have depending on when you are reading this) “Sight Word Slide Show” sets in several other seasonal and fun themes for children. Also, I have “Sight Word Flash Cards” numbered to match the word lists in each slide show.
