This product includes TWO levels for easily differentiating!
I use this as an independent activity for my students. Print these on cardstock to make them extra sturdy. Then laminate, cut apart, and place velcro on the boxes and the back of the letters. One version is a direct matching activity, the other the student is given empty boxes and they must pick the letters themselves. The presentation of the letters used to spell can be changed to make the activity more or less challenging for students- for example, you may provide the letters for only that word and the student simply needs to figure out the correct order. You could also incorporate two or three cards and the corresponding letters so they are all presented together to give the student more of a challenge. For my students requiring an extra challenge, I would place ALL the letter boxes on one page and they would have to scan the page to find the letters they needed to spell the given word.
This is a very flexible activity that can be given in pieces to students who require more frequent breaks, or can be given in it's entirety to students who are able to work for longer peiords =
