This is a PDF file containing printable worksheets where students practice weekly sight words in a multi-sensory approach by spinning a paperclip and graphing their results. This document is aligned specifically to Oswego 308 first grade sight words. Each worksheet contains the 5 words from the week being taught. Sight words include: the, of, and, to, a, in, is, that, it, was, for, you, he, on, as, are, they, with, be, his, at, or, from, had, I, not, have, this, but, by, were, one, all, she, when, an, like, there, her, can, we, what, about, up, said, out, if, some, would, so, who, very, two, than, no, me, look, him, am, go, see, man, do, us, saw, has, day, into, play, mother, get, big, their, come, went, here, them, asked, my, back, how, did, then, will, over, now, just, after, little, put, I’m, away, came, going, make, before, your, don’t, because, our, too, could, & where.
I use this as a morning work page and during Daily 5 Word Work.
To use, I laminate, then attach a small paperclip with a brad to make a spinner in the upper right corner. I have students use thin dry erase markers to graph the words they have spun.
This is based on a design I saw elsewhere, but I created this entire product and aligned it to fit the order of sight words as we introduce them.
