Sight Word Surveillance is a packet designed to provide engaging, interactive practice of the first 50 words on the Fry’s sight word list (plus a few extras). There are 4 kinds of activities included in this 68 page packet.
Hunt and Graph: Students will hunt for hidden words and then graph them to show how many of each word they found.
Hidden Sentences: Students will hunt for hidden words, record them on the notepad and then unscramble them to create 1 sentence.
Hunt and Color: Students will hunt for hidden words in pictures and color the picture accordingly.
Word Hunt: Students will hunt for one high frequency word from Fry’s list which has been hidden multiple times. Students will see how many times they can find it. They also will use it in a sentence. Also, included is a blank word hunt to allow practice of other words not included in this packet.
