Sight Word Turkey Thanksgiving Literacy Center for Kindergarten

Use this Thanksgiving inspired sight word center to build students' sight word recognition and spelling skills. It will be a great addition to your kindergarten literacy centers or morning work to practice sight word recognition and spelling skills.

What is included:

1- Reusable Color Activity Mats: Print in color, cut out the wings, beaks and snoods, and laminate. Students use the turkey work mat to build their own turkeys. Then they can use a whiteboard marker to record the sight words they used.

2- Cut and Paste Activity: Print out the black and white wings, snoods and beaks, and enough turkey worksheets for all your students. They cut out the pieces they want to use to build their turkey, then record the sight words they used.

* You can now add your own sight words using the editable PowerPoint version. Simply type in the sight words you want to use, and print! You can edit the color or black and white versions of the ornaments.
